600 IItians are suffereing from Food Poisioning.

Mumbai: on Monday and Tuesday 500 to 600 IITians are sick and suffering from high fever and vomiting and stomach pain and infection. While IITians authorities are still finding the reason of Food infection.

All the Sick students are from three hostel of IIt and as per the record they said that the dinner which was served on Sunday night can cause the Food infection. Six students are very sick and hospitalized on Tuesday night at the Powai Campus.

IIT-B  spokesperson said that we are try the best to find the reason of food poising in the IIT Campus but as of now the situation is under control.Officals have already send the  stool sample of the sick students and the sample of drinking water of the IIT campus .

Joshi Said that “By Wednesday we will come out with the cause Report and the affected students will kept under the OPD basis and Rehydration and antibiotics are already given by the doctors to the students and they are responding well to the medicines and treatment.
