Mumbai recover to beat Trinidad by one wicket

Bangalore, (IANS): Mumbai Indians survived a near collapse to beat underdogs Trinidad and Tobago by one wicket in an exciting Champions League Twenty20 tie at the Chinnaswamy stadium.

Chasing a paltry 99, a never-say-die Mumbai defied a spirited Trinidad bowling and attacking fielding to score the winning two runs off the last ball of the 20th over.

Earlier, Trinidad was restricted to 98 in 16.2 overs.

This is the second sensational victory Mumbai posted in the tournament after beating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Chennai last week.
