Sanaya Irani ......(kHUSHI)

Sanaya Irani (born on 17 September) is an Indian actress known for her roles in television series such as Miley Jab Hum Tum, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi.^[1] She had gained some popularity as Sameera in Left Right Left. She currently plays the lead role of Khushi Kumari Gupta in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon on STAR Plus, which is currently one of the top shows in India.

Early Career 

Born on 17th september 1988 and brought up in Mumbai, Sanaya appeared in various advertisements and modeling. Though Sanaya wanted to do MBA, She started her career with advertisements and modeling on her mother's advice. After that she entered into acting debut with Jagjit Singh's song Tumko Dekha To Yeh and did few other music videos. Sanaya first approached actor Boman Irani, who was a photographer at that time. Then with a little guidance from him and with the support of her mother, she took her first steps in the industry. For almost four years, Sanaya continued doing commercials and music videos. She recollects, "I never thought I would act on television, yet I knew I would do movies if somebody offered me anything."

In her career, she has worked for various advertisements like EverYuth Fruit Face Wash, Fairglow, Dabur Honey, Reliance, Balmonte and Slice Mangola. Recently, she has appeared in Dulux paint ad with Barun Sobti

Break Through
After her stint with modeling she entered acting, where a notable role was as Kajol's friend in the movie Fanaa (2006). She then went on to play the role of Sameera in Left Right Left, her first show on the Indian Channel SAB TV. She then had a role as Sanaya in Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi on Imagine TV. Her breakout role was as Gunjan on Miley Jab Hum Tum. She hosted Zara Nachke Dikhaseason 2 on Star One. Currently she is playing the lead role Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? which is a famous daily soap on Star PLUS in India. ^[2].

Sanaya Irani, is playing the lead role in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? - opposite Barun Sobti. they are most amazing couple on tv right now and have rocking on-screen chemistry. In this serial we can see her in an Indian bahu avtaar. Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doona is STAR Plusshow. This serial premiered in India on June 6, 2011, and presently airs on weekdays at 8:00 pm. Is Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon is a love story of Khushi and Arnav, showing different shades of personalities in realtionship of love and hate. Khushi and Arnav both have opposite beliefs, thus they contrast each other. In this serial, character of khushi and Arnav is based on love-hate relationship.

She was born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She received her schooling in Ooty. She is currently Dating Mohit Sehgal (Her Co-Star form Miley Jab Hum Tum^[3]. Other television actors that she is close to are Barun Sobti (Her Co-Star from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon)^[4],Deepali Pansare Ragini Khanna^[5], Drashti Dhami from Geet (TV series), Gautami Kapoor Arjun Bijlani (Co-Star from Left Right Left and Miley Jab Hum Tum), Ragini Khanna(co-star from Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayenge) and Kinshuk Mahajan (Bidaai).
