Taliban video shows execution of 15 Pak soldiers

Handcuffed Pakistani soldiers sit cross legged with a masked gunman standing behind them in this still image taken from video obtained by Reuters on January 21, 2012. Fifteen Pakistani soldiers stood blindfolded, handcuffed to each other on a barren hilltop as one of their bearded Taliban captors held an AK-47 rifle and spoke with fury about revenge. He left no doubt what would come at any second. Pakistan's Taliban abducted the paramilitary troops on December 23, 2011 from near the country's lawless tribal areas to avenge military operations. The soldiers were given full military honours at a funeral held on January 5, 2012 in Peshawar. The words at the bottom of the frame read: "My name is Subedar Babar Khan and my tribe is Shirani Drazeen; and my father's name is Iftikhar."
