Yoga Guru Ramdev holds Central Government responsible for Rajbala's death



New Delhi, Sep 27 (ANI): Terming his supporter Rajbala death as an ultimate sacrifice, Yoga GuruBaba Ramdev on Tuesday said Rajbala's death is not a normal one and the Central Government should take the responsibility.
Talking to reporters here,Yoga Guru Ramdev said: "Rajbala's death is not a normal one. The central government should take the responsibility for all such accusations."
"There should be legal inquiry. Central government should give answers. Any government who does not abide by Constitutional and moral rights, they do not deserve to be in power," he addedDelhi government and Delhi Police cannot be forgiven. Central government and home ministry have committed a heinous crime," he said.
Requesting Central Government to do justice to Rajbala, Ramdev said: "It can only be forgiven if culprits are arrested and punished.
He further said her (Rajbala) sacrifice will not go in vein. Millions of her brothers and sisters will continue to fight for corruption-free India.
Praising noted lawyer Ram Jethmalani, Ramdev said: "Ram Jethmalani is fighting the case on humanitarian grounds.
Rajbala, who was injured during the pre-dawn police action in Ramlila Maidan on June 5, succumbed to her injuries on Monday at the G.B. Pant Hospital.
Although postmortem report suggested cardiac failure to be the reason behind Rajbala's death, her kin alleged that Rajbala died due to negligence of the hospital administration.
The Yoga Guru Ramdev had been on a hunger strike against corruption along with 65,000 followers when the Delhi Police cracked down on their camp late on the night of June 5 at the Ramlila Maidan.
Delhi Police fired tear gas shells, when Yoga Guru Ramdev was on his indefinite 'fast-unto-death' stir to demand several radical reforms in the prevailing political system, including a death penalty for corrupt officials. (ANI)
